I'm back...and it's NJIT Day of Giving!
Friends, I’m sorry for the delay in posting. Last week was an unusual week, especially because we actually lost internet for days. I am back today, and once again I am helping my beloved alma mater, NJIT, fundraise for student scholarships!
You can see my latest post on LinkedIn here, but I’ve also reposted it below:

Dear Friends,
#NJITDayofGiving is here! I’ve just donated to the Dr. Joel Bloom Presidential Scholars Program (https://spsr.me/Dp3t).
As many of you know, I first met Dr. Bloom in 2000 as an Albert Dorman Honors College (ADHC) Scholar when he was the Dean of ADHC at NJIT; Dr. Bloom has always exemplified the highest level of character, dedication, and commitment to student success. The Dr. Joel Bloom Presidential Scholars Program is therefore so special, because it honors and celebrates the legacy of Dr. Bloom’s 30 years of outstanding leadership to the university.
Further, as mentioned on the Day of Giving website (https://spsr.me/Dp3t), this program “will provide critical scholarship support for academically promising undergraduate students who demonstrate significant financial need and are enrolled in the Albert Dorman Honors College (ADHC) or the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), with a strong preference for those who are members of historically underrepresented groups.”
To learn more about this exceptional program and how you can contribute to the education and success of NJIT students, please visit:

Thank you, Dr. Bloom, for your many years of transformative leadership and service. I will miss you.
Pictured below are Drs. Joel and Diane Bloom with my husband, Fernando, and me on Saturday. We enjoyed a beautiful evening at the 2022 NJIT Alumni Weekend dinner.
